I have a new 18kt/SS GMT II green hour hand purchased 24 March of this year. Anybody got anything? Kinda thinking of a YM 18kt/SS or Platinum dial and bezel. The watch is in like 98% you can still see the black numbers printed on the hologram on the back. :)

Well, Ed....have you actually seen this watch for real? Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The heft and feel of this beauty is something to be experienced only when you actually hold it in your hands.

The pics do it no justice at all. This is probably one of the best examples of what all future Rolex watches will come to be. The bracelet and clasp are absolutely out of this world....as is the rest of the watch!!

Actually, I have fondled it. I still don't like the green hand. The rest of the watch is beautiful, I agree. It just has that one little flaw.

I know I've written this before on this forum, but although this watch is certainly beautiful, I still don't like the way the band interfaces with the case. Since the lugs appear wider on the new supercase, the band just doesn't seem to "flow" well and there seems to be a step off onto the case. In my opinion, if the end links tapered slightly wider it would flow into the case nicer, making it more aesthetically pleasing.

I do agree to a certain extent. With this watch, Rolex have actually thickened the lugs....but still maintained the same standard lug width of 20 mm. Thus the tapering has been affected to a certain degree.

Still....a fine looking watch with some amazing new features!!

i've just sold my 2nd one of these... though must admit it wasn't the easiest watch to sell..

I really don't mean to sound rude, but shouldn't you have gauged all this BEFORE plonking down hard cash for it and then deciding to sell it at a loss?

ahh but JJ i didn't say I lost.. on either one...

the 1st one was bought to sell and the buyer was lined up waiting.. the 2nd one was a little more complicated.. came just a day after buying the SS/Plat YM and at such a price that I would have been silly to ignore it..
the plan being that i bought both with the option of selling which one didn't sing the loudest and that was the TT GMTII especially as I have a new SS GMTII due shortly... so i put it up for sale which took about 3 weeks to sell (for a small profit)

the key is in clever purchasing...
