part name please
What is the technical name for the part of the watch that the second hand attaches to? The post that is driven by the movement, thus turning the secondhand?
I need to order a part, but my watchmaker only speaks spanish and I am not sure what the name is in english. Thanks

-or centre seconds pinion, it depends which movement you have whether the pinion that takes the centre seconds hand is fitted to a wheel or not. Modern Rolex movements all have wheels attached to their centre (center)seconds pinions.
Part numbers depend on which movement you are dealing with. Tylden. |
