Explorer II on Jubilee
Here is my new Explorer II! This should hold me over for a while so I don't have to buy the new 2011 just released.
With the correct end links, it fits perfect. |

I had help of others here who have already done this. This is also not a Super Jubilee Bracelet. But I wish!
I have small wrists and find the Jubilee to size smaller and be more comfortable overall. The setup depends on what case you have. Mine is a Z Serial w/SEL, w/No Lug Holes Case. The Jubilee bracelet is a standard DJ '62510 H', with old style flip lock clasp. Since mine is a No Lug Holes case you'll need special 502T end links. These end links are notched to expose the shouldered SEL spring bars. The correct spring bars for the case are 2.0mm, and for a good fit you'll want to use those spring bars. However, not all Jubillee bracelet rings fit 2.0mm spring bars. I have found that some only accept 1.8mm. Therefore, you may have widen them to accept the larger and more secure spring bars. This wasn't the case for me, but I have had to do this with other Jubilee bracelets to fit securly with Rolex sports models. The 502T end links I purchaed from my AD, and it cost me $80 for the pair. Well worth it IMO, it's a completly new watch now. The only negative is the rattle, but that is expected, as I've sort of downgraded the watch to an older style braclet, and it's taking me a while to feel like the watch is still secure. |

I've always thought that the Jublee should have been an option for the Explorer II just like the GMT since they share the same Oyster bracelets.....

looking at the picture again, it really has that classic rolex look to it. yes, i know, explorer ii's never came on jubilees, but, still, it looks "classic"/retro.....nice.
i'm trying to imagine the new one on a super jubilee and it's not working for me. calling the photoshop pros??
