Thinking of Changing my Sub

I have a nice Sub 16610 from 1989/90 - just back from full RSC service, new crystal (with LEC) and bezel insert from RSC.
It has a Tritium Gloss Dial and 91350 SS Bracelet.

.... I need some glow, so am thinking of flipping to a 2008/2010 16610T Sub with the luminova dial and 93250 SS Bracelet.

My 1989/90 watch is in great condition (seen as it is 22 years old) .... may advertise it on here for sale ..

Am I obsessive or mad wanting to change to a luminova dial?

You may only post your watch for sale in the the for-sale forum only, no other forum. But why did you not have the dial changed to a Luminova dial when you had it serviced and saved a bit of cash. The only difference between your watch and any present day sub is purely a few very small cosmetic changes.Myself would keep your watch as it is now, and lets be honest how often do you need to tell the time while in complete darkness. And even the present day 16610 lume is not the best on the planet of watches..

I have to agree here, all of mine our fairly recent and none have real great lume. Doesn't bother me though, I don't often find myself in situations where I need to tell the time in the dark.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your advice .. think I am getting too obsessive .. Don't worry - If I put up for sale here, it will be in the for sale forum / section - my original post was not an advert, just a thought about flipping ...

If I really need to tell the time in the dark, I use my mobile phone.
