glas date bulb on Seadweller???

Hello! i am close to buy a SeaDweller from ebay. The price is good (compared to Sweden) and there is a strong powerseller selling it. The only problem i have is that the pictures of the watch have the typical rolex bulb over the date. I have never seen this before on a SeaDweller...what do you think?

I've seen this mod done before.
Post a link or some photos if you want a better opinion.
What does the seller say about it?

post the link and we'll take a look. Some people have been known to add the 'cyclops' to a seadweller. It can also be removed if you wish.

What exactly does this mean? that the watch is new but the seller has put the cyclops on it? is this normal while selling a new watch?

Looks real. I'm not sure if the Z's came with the green hologram though. It may not be new. Also, why no photo's of box and papers (card), how about the kit?
The best part about this listing is looking at the "custom cyclops" that doesn't seem to magnify the date at all. It also looks like it has glue overflowing out on the edges. Really nice custom work. Clearly not an authentic Rolex cyclops.
Too much $$ as well, though MAYBE not if really BNIB with full extras. I'd make removal of the dreadful cyclops a condition of the sale.

I think someone bought the watch, couldn't see the date, added a crappy aftermarket cyclops and was unhappy with the results. Fast forward a couple years, now they are ready to dump it.

saw this on another thread, u can remove the cyclops if you are brave

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8-33UbhuyE

it is easy to add a cyclops, I think DP added one to his Tudor Heritage Chrono using a watch maker he uses so it wouldnt surprise me if this has been retro fitted by a skilled individual.
