Is it itchy? I tend to agree with the others, looks like its caused by fiction and pressure.

I agree loosen it up a bit. For me, I can get my pinky between my wrist and the clasp and this is the "perfect" fit... I think it is a gorgeous sub, hope you get it all worked out and welcome to TRF
Congrats on the wedding too

Thank you everyone for the welcome, and the congrats on my wedding!
I don't have a rash on the top of my wrist(caseback area), and I know for sure I am not allergic to gold. I loosened the bracelet one notch and will see if that helps. I regularly wore a polyurethane watch prior to this, but never this often. I just can't take this new watch off! I will also try taking the watch off in the shower, and when I wash my hands. I talked to a doctor who said it just looks like a sweat rash. So that was reassuring! Thanks again everyone. |

I am a very light sleeper, so I wake up often and wonder what time it is. No alarm clock in the bedroom, just an iPhone. Not a big fan of light/electronics in the room when I am trying to sleep.

That looks like a sweat rash that my son gets whenever we visit family in Japan (hot and humid). I have very sensitive skin and if I had a reaction to the metal or anything else in contact with skin, it would leave a very well-defined pattern.
Try loosening the watch. Another alternative would be leather or NATO band. |

The watch is too tight; it shouldn't be digging into your skin like that. The great thing about your SubC is that the easylink means you can adjust it without going to an AD and it's, well easy! Just unsnap the links under the clasp and slide them to what's comfortable. I think it moves 1.8mm per click.

Bryan,
I love your serti SubC. Think about getting one myself. Does the asymmetry of the markets bother you at all, I mean the fact that's there's some that are diamonds and others that are standard makers? Can you post a lume pic? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I agree with Mr. Bill's assessment of adjusting the bracelet to be looser. To add, put a little Neosporin on that rash each morning/evening and in a couple of days that rash will be gone.

Use a little Hydrocortisone cream on the wrist. Nickel allergy is common but you should be showing it where the skin is touching the nickel. Don't clean the watch with chemicals as they can stay on the watch and cause this reaction. Clean with soap and water.

You said you sleep in it, perhaps if you roll over onto your left side and the buckle/bracelet press into your wrist they are leaving that indentation. Try wearing it just during the day. FWIW, I like my watches a bit on the snug side and I always end up with a buckle indentation on my wrist by day's end.

Congrats on the wedding!
That is a beautiful watch, the black, gold and diamonds work perfectly, not one you see very often. I know how you feel, when I first got mine it did not come off my wrist once for four months! One word of warning though, if you hang around here long enough you will soon have several to choose from, regardless how you feel now! |

Sweat rash around the clasp, I've had them. Nickel rash is more inflamed with larger blotches and horribly itchy, my partner is allergic to nickel and her rashes from even moderate contact are awful!

Did you remove the protective stickers? You should try to wash the watch with mild soap as well. There might be trace adhesive left from the protective tape which may be the culprit. While it may be a nickel allergy, I would imagine it wouldn't be so focused around the clasp area

You married the right woman! Guy I know was bought this very naff looking Cartier Pasha Seatimer by his wife for their wedding, loves her to bits, so wears it every day while hating it, and all his mates laugh about it.
That Sub is awesome! Slack him off a bit and you'll be sweet as.

looks like the nickel allergy that my Milgauss GV caused me. There is really only one solution - have her buy you an all gold one!
