Opinions please PAM 287
As I've mentioned before I've been drawn to the Pam 88. I finally got to try one on in person at my AD and it was a stunner. Then I decided to try on the Pam 287 radiomir and it just felt great. It certainly has less presence than the 88 despite it's 45 mm size. Im thinking i like the 287 but alas cant get both Thoughts on the 88 vs 287 from the PAM experts would be appreciated. It seems lately that the 88 sales are a little sluggish. Am I wrong on that? Thanks much.

I am very interested in a similar question...I am currently trying to decide between a 111 and a 183. I always thought I wanted a Luminor, but recently have started to really be drawn to the Radiomir.

The Pam 88 is the first one I fell for, actually decide to go with the Pam000 instead. Really though it shouldn't matter what others think.

With the caveat of recommending buying what sings to you, here's my $.02- If you're going to have just one, a Luminor just SCREAMS Panerai. Can't go go wrong. The 88 is great and I personally wouldn't mind having one some day, but the dial is busy for a PAM. The 287 isn't for me, but some really like it and have even said it's underrated.
Take a look and enjoy the search! Many great ones out there...may I seed a terrible notion and say check out the 190! One of the greatest movements stuffed into a Panerai... B

I'm enjoying my rad more than my lum at the moment. Strap versatility is higher IMHO. Dressy to vintage dirty in the blink of an eye. Fits so well and comfy too!

Pam 88
I own 5 Roles and one Panerai, that being the 88. I fell in love with the 237, but since they only made 400 pieces, this was the closest to it, and a stunner! I get more compliments on this watch than any of my Rolex.

Thanks everyone. As usual everybody's spot on with their comments/suggestions. The 88 does seem like the most bang for your buck and it is a beauty. What
about the 1950s case on the Luminor? Does this lower it's wrist profile at all? |

I asked the same question when I was deciding between 104 and 287...if you are buying 1 and only 1 (we always think this way).. Luminor is way to go..so.. 104 !!
