One of the best mechanical watches out there for the money, and in many ways better than a Sub at less than half the price!

The Lum does Rock!

So Craig... how did you get the blisters on your palm (OMG, not the JJ method )???

BTW, I have said it before and will again here - I could very easily become an Omega collector. Except...you and mamas have scarfed up all the good ones!

It's a brand new watch, Allan, it needed lots of winding Although, the warm apple pie thing you mentioned in that PM just isn't making any sense to me

He's part wrong and part right, Craig. You and I both know that you can use the lume on a Black Monster as a flashlight.

BUT... Alex is off base when he claims that the Seamaster has "Crappy Lume", IMHO. Perhaps he IS kidding!

I was going to say Ray Charles, but I respect the man's work too much. On the other hand, I figure "I Just Called to Say I Love You" gave me all the weapons release I needed for Stevie.

If I had a nickel for every cheesy lounge pianist I've heard play that, I'd be getting a 50th SS GMT without a second thought now.

To steal a phrase, he just don't get no respect anymore.

I just heard a song on the TV last week - a cut from his new album. I was VERY disappointed. I thought this album might be a return to the "Superstition" days, but alas! It is not to be!
