see my signature line plus this swatch, which will never leave my possession....given to me five years ago by my wife to time her contractions during the birth of our first child.

I have too many watches to wear.
In addition to two Oysterdates, I have a Breitling Colt auto, and a bunch of art deco period watches: a '47 Bulova gp, a '37 gp Lord Elgin with a great loose link gp bracelet, a 25j 50s Benrus auto and a 50s Suisse Chrono. I also just bought a '41 black dial gp Bulova with a loose link original gp bracelet. A real jewelry piece. I'll have to post some of these eventually. A few are at the jewelers.

I also have a Luminox Navy Seals watch, though I don't know if the Seals actually wear them. I hear many wear cheaper G-shocks.

Grumpy Badger--that's a great Churchill quote. Very true.

Thanks, mate! You can't make an omelette in life unless you're willing to break a few eggs!

Sounds like you've got a really interesting collection!

My watch collection is probably the most motley here. I'll go alphabetically:

Accutron Spaceview
Alpha chrono
Bulova (2)
Dunhill
Favre Leuba (Nancy expropriated this one)
Gucci (this one started it, currently also in Nancy's watch box)
Heuer Carrera chrono
Invicta
Longines (3)
Marathon
Moser (Russian, circa 1917)
Movado chrono
Omega Speedmaster
Rolex 14060
Rolex 1630
Rolex 16613
Roskopf
Soviet military dive watch, mid 60's
Tudor vintage
Wadsworth
Zippo chrono

Pretty much every one gets worn regularly with the exception of the Soviet dive watch which is about the size of Big Ben.

Then there are the pocket watches...................

Al, have you ever taken the time to round them all up and attempt a group PIC yet? That would be something to see.

Panerai - seems to be popular with many on this forum.

IWC - I'm not a fan in general, but this Vintage series Ingenieur really sang to me.

I have Omega, Casio, Orient, JL (no not JLC, JL is an entry level swiss brand which I think is on the same level as Invitas but without all that homage going on).
