I would love to see a split second chronograph

You ? Moonfase ? Perpetual calendar ? Power reserve indicator ? Tourbillon ? Minute repeater ? Maybe a manual watch ?

Don't like moonphase, prefer date to calender, power reserve is pointless, tourbillon only really works well on clocks or if the watch is in one position. I'm happy with the current lineup thanks!

Don't care so much about the water temp, but a mechanical depth gauge would be VERY useful to me.

What I am most interested in is not additional complications as such but things that make the watch more user-friendly. I can only hope that in time, watch companies will address these things. To explain, there is no need for tiny slotted screws to hold the bracelet together. They require you to loosen thread-locker and use extreme caution to remove a link without marring the screw head or scratching up the bracelet. While there are those who will say it is no big deal, there are simply easier ways to do this. I would prefer to see more companies use a system like IWC uses for their bracelets which allows you to use a push-pin to easily remove links with no worry about damage. It is simple, quick, reliable, and makes link removal a breeze.

Same goes for removing the bracelet from the watch head. Spring bars are also a pain, IMO and have outlived their usefulness. You again have to be very careful and use just the right tool to remove them without scratching up the lugs. Would like to see a more technically advanced system that would allow for this to occur much more easily by the end user without any special tools. Finally, I would like more watches to have an adjustable on the fly bracelet for quick changes in size for comfort like the new Sub. The easy-link system is nice but it only allows for a small change and not a wide range of quick adjustability.

All of these are just examples but this is what I am personally looking for - ways to make the watch ownership experience easier.

I see some of us getting kicked out of nice restaurants, so maybe a reserve complication is not so good of an idea

That's funny. I'm sure I would fall into this category.

I would find a power indicator useful, however am not a big fan of them fully displayed on the dial. As I also think a clear caseback would be cool (albeit nothing more than a novelty), it could allow visibility for an indictor on the back.

I like the Rolex the way they are really. Built tough, reliable, dependable, and gorgeous.

I look at other brands to fill those additional complication desires.

Perpetual calendar would be nice although its kind of pointless if you are not wearing the watch everyday since you need to set it again anyway if you alternate between watches.

I would say although not a new complication but a longer power reserve with a minimum of 80 hours will be fantastic.

However, I can't hep but think of the riculous premium Rolex will charge for these which will put me off if they really do come up with them!
