Another UK forum I use has a lost and stolen section so the unfortunates can post details of their lost watches. Means we can all keep our eyes open in case they crop up. Seems like a good idea.

If this were the case, why wouldn't they make the serial #s public, so nobody is tricked into buying them?

wow .. what a list of stolen watches .. I hope they can be recovered and the offender locked away for good

A section like that in the norwegian forum also, and if I remember correctly the dutch as well

Ya Know, It sure would be nice to have an Official Stolen List that everyone could turn to. I don't mean anyone could call and have a watch put on it , A police report would have to be involved. After all this is the age of the Internet.

Rolex will never provide access to their stolen watch list. Rolex wants you to purchase new from an AD, they don't want you to purchase pre-owned.

I don't believe you would need Rolex for this type of a list. Also the list could go beyond Rolex Watches.

The problem with a stolen list is that criminals can use it to see if their watch has been reported. Good and bad can come from a stolen list...

I'd stick with ADs and sellers you trust and reley on.

If the watch reported to RSC in US and the watch brought it to oversea RSC for authentication, will RSC confiscate the watch?

RSC link worldwide for stolen watch?

I am having a little bit of a problem with Good and bad from a stolen watch list. Good and bad for who.

I have heard of recovered watches in a different continent that the one where they were stolen.. so yes...
