new vintage gold piece...

Hi guys,
Just found a vintage precision from a very good friend..
Local watchmaker guy who looked at it for him reckons its all legit from 1935 and he said its "low" gold ,ie 9k or max 14k I reckon .

I can't see any ref numbers not between lugs nor on back if watch...will get it open next week hopefully caseback is marked...

The dial seems peculiar as it has the minute track inside the numbers, haven't seen any like this before...

ANYONE GOT ANY INFO / WORDS OF WISDOM FOR ME ?

Thanks for the appreciation, I hope somebody who knows about these comes fwd with some info as my vintage research has always been focused on sports model and I am positively clueless as to what ref it is ...

Also after about 10 hours of research i still haven't found any with a similar dial with the minute track inside the numbers ....

Research did confirm the low gold means 9 ct ...

I really hope somebody can get me some info before next week its killing me not being able to find any info at all ... Thanks

That's a really nice one! Looks all original and ca. mid-late '40s (from the style of the dial and hands). Is that a solid gold bracelet?

Hi, the guy who last opened it said it should be around 1935 however we do not have a phone number for him, I will confirm this once I can get it open next week...I guess then ill find the reference too...

The bracelet is not solid gold its a kind of stretchy gold band, I will try to post pics later but I don't think its a Rolex band, it says excalibur '60' as well as loads if tiny hallmarks and codes that I cannot read without a loupe...made in USA I think but its just too small font to read till I can get some magnification...I will probably replace it with a leather band unless its correct...

I am surprised nobody has been able to suggest a reference yet though...I guess it could be a good thing or a bad thing that its an obscure model ...all I know is I love the look and dial and it was a bargain for any Rolex...but I would like to make sure its not worth too much before I start wearing it around too casually...
