I can totally imagine wearing a WG/SS DJ II with jeans + t-shirt, but I can't really imagine wearing the 36mm DJ with such casual clothing. |

The Subc LV or black (your choice) has the more classic Rolex look with modern updates, so I would (and have) made the Subc my first choice. The DJII is nice, but perhaps not as versatile and rugged. A minor quip is I do find the flutted bezel on the DJII a tade too wide and flashy for my tastes, but to each their own. Good luck in making your choice. Cheers

Have one of each if your funding will permit. Both are very good watches and both can be worm with casual or dressy clothing.

I would choose the Sub C and I just picked one up before the price increased. My friend has a new DJ II black dial, it's a beautiful watch but to each his own. You should try both on...the Sub C/GMT IIc are a little thicker than the DJ II. I like the band and double glidelock for the gmt c /sub c vs. DJ II band but I dont think you will be disappointed with either.

The DJ II is an update on a classic. The Sub C is an update on a classic.
I don't think you can go wrong either way. I will say one thing, I don't think the green is as versatile. The DJ II has a variety of different dials and is offered in TT. Go with your gut! |
