It amazes me that people question why others want to try different straps and mods. I personally am all about mixing it up. We can all agree that Rolex offers a fine looking timepiece and that the oyster and jubilee bracelets are iconic and beautiful, but to be able to temporarily customize, personalize and tweak the look of your favorite watch only makes the experience that much better/funner in my opinion!
Anyways, to the original poster, sorry I do not have a GMTc, but I could show you my Yacht-Master on brown leather Nato/Zulu I wore for about a month during the winter. Hopefully it will help get your thread going! |

That looks sharp. I am just trying to determine two factors in the strap. Type of leather and color.

I kind of like the look of the Hirsch, but for me, nothing feels more "right" than a Rolex on it's original bracelet… the bracelet/ case weight ration comes into play and certainly changes with a strap on your wrist. Good luck with your search!

Nothing wrong with changing it to a strap. Infact, the GMT-C looks awesome on leather. black really smarten up the watch ready for work.

Would love to see some pics on a brown leather strap (much like the YM above). I have a SubC and have asked this question many times with no answer. Maybe people just don't put their SubCs / GMTIIcs on brown leather straps?
I've always been a fan of how the vintage Subs look on the brown leather. Also, how PAM look on those butter brown calfskin straps. |

Here's mine on a Hirsch Liberty... not sure if it really worked, to be honest, but worth a try.
