Sleepwatching?

I went to bed last night with my Panerai 000... I distinctly recall thinking "nice lume". When I awoke this morning, I had no watch on! My 000 was on the floor (carpeted) next to the bed. I see no evidence of strap failure so I must have taken it off during the night and dropped it on the floor! Disturbing to say the least. I'm now considering never sleeping with my watches on again. Ever have this happen to you?

Mystery answered! Apparently my wife was bothered by the lume of the watch and told me to take it off and throw it away. I never realized that I was susceptible to nocturnal suggestions. It might explain some of the odd things I've purchased for my wife over the years!

I'm betting it was uncomfortable for you to wear while sleeping and you took it off while half asleep (or 3/4 asleep in your case)!

I sleep with a watch on every night, either a G shock atomic watch or a Citizen watch (one of the best lume in my collection)... i have never taken my watch off in the middle of night...
