Sometimes I want to change a nylon band to instead the original stainless steel bracelet in hot summer for my Explorer II, do you think this one is ok?

Its your watch and you should wear what ever you want too myself not a huge fan of Nato straps.Like my Rolex on the SS but for a change prefer the rubber type straps.

I have a few NATO straps, but I prefer the 2 piece NATO or traditional 2 piece nylon straps. I prefer the watch head to be right down on my wrist as opposed to elevated on the strap. There is also a NATO style strap w/o the extra keeper (RAF style) and a traditional buckle. That was actually the original James Bond "NATO". It had a standard buckle! There are photos of the back of Connery's wrist wearing it.

During hot summers all i want to wear is SS bracelet or rubber band ... NATO/Leather gets wet and soaked in sweat and start to smell

It is comfortable but I don't care much for the cloth keeper, I prefer the RAF strap.

I was lingering between resin strap and nylon strap(traditional pin buckle), NATO it exactly a Hulk for my bony wrist, and Hirsch resin is excellent, but some of my friends told me that it will stick on the sweaty waist in hot summer, you know, Hong Kong is the semitropical region with 30~33C and humidity around 70~80%, so the only choice is nylon strap. By the way, I like Saxon007's strap pin buckle, brushed finished and streamline shape.

Love NATO in summer. Light and comfy and wears well for me in heat. Good change up also!!

... for me any alternative to an SS bracelet should be traditional nato style ie. a continuous strap.

With a bracelet, springbars, links and the clasp are working in unison.
With a strap, springbars are working just that bit harder particularly if the wearer likes a firm fit.

With a continuous nato strap, one spring bar can fail and the watch is still on my wrist .... not down a crevasse or at the bottom of the sea
