Hello all,
Does anyone know when will the current model of 14060m be discontinue production? Or where can I find more info on the new no-date sub that will be COSC certified? |

Somewhere, someone posted that they had seen the new COSC 14060M at an AD.
No pics yet though! Welcome to the forum! |

Would doubt if the 14060M will be discontinued, the only difference will be its COSC tested and have Superlative chronometer to clutter up the dial. The fact was all Rolex movement could easily pass the COSC test.Just some were tested others not,the test today costs around £120 plus per movement. And IMHO its just a big marketing ploy today .

Agree completely. And this will drive up the cost of the basic Sub. Rolex will not eat the cost of testing. |

Well Rolex did state at Basel there would not be any price rise for the new COSC tested models. So its just goes to show there is still quite a high profit margin left to absorb the COSC test costs.

Yup, that was me who posted that. It was a German member of another watch forum who had seen it at Bucherer of Geneva. He did post a pic of it, too, but I cannot find it.

I think IF the ND is changed (not discontinued) it won't happen untill the 16610 is upgraded. |

Yes, the photo was taken though the window glass from outside of Bucherer. I noted that the 6 and 9 hour markers seemed to be "Maxi", but when I asked the German member about this, he said it was just due to the "bad photo quality". But you could see the "richer text" (= COSC writing) underneath "Submariner 300 m = 1000 ft"). And since very visibly it had NO date, and it was NO Sea-Dweller (the date aparture of the SD is broader than the hour marker at 9), it MUST have been the COSC Sub No Date.
