another Folex
Gotta love this beauty, a Plat/SS YachtMaster with the ultra rare MOP dial with diamonds.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...ADME:B:SS:CA:1 Last and only feedback was for 2 purchases in Feb '05. Probably a hijacked account. I've already reported it.

date magnification is one of the most obvious but i can provide you with a link that is going to show how to spot replicas and the difference of quaility between replicas. It is only for submariners though

The second glaring (and very common) error is that the minute hand is the same width as the hour hand. YachtMaster minute hands are noticeably wider than the hour hand, like this real deal one:

Hi AR, I don't own a YM, mine's a TT Sub. That pic was one I grabbed off the 'net to show the difference in hand width. With my luck, I probably grabbed a shot of another Folex!

That is so bad it hurts my eyes. Let me guess Sleaze Bay will do nothing about this one as well.

Looks like bidding has ended and the thief made out with $2275. I suppose the bidder thought he'd stolen this one, but it looks like the other way around. Why would anyone bid on such a suspect item with no significant feedback from the seller? Poor pictures too. From the number of bids, there are no shortage of folks wanting to give away money.
I'm saving this link. I am curious what kind of feed back the guy is going to get from this sale! |

I bought this watch and i know its fake. i called the guy since he is local and he said he thought it was fake. he said he wanted to cancel the auction but there was less than 12 hrs left so i bid on it and were gonna cancel the transaction. i thought this was the only fair thing to do so some1 else wouldnt get stuck with it

Actually Al...something about that pic you posted (which is a good example of the maxi dial and hand widths) does look a bit off. LOL

Wow..nice thing for this guy (seller) to do unless he knew he was totally busted...and for logo to take the risk and protect someone else. 1 down, 975,999 transactions to go!
