I hope that's a good thing

I've wanted this watch from the first time I laid eyes on it in an ad. Only about 5 years later I was able to afford it. I still love it.

It's not top quality though. Movement has been broken and needed 3 new bracelets over 11 years. Also replaced my plexi for a crystal glass. Last time the price for a bracelet was about twice as high as the first replacement. The dealer told me this was probably the last time he could get his hands on one.

That's why I decided to only buy luxury watches that will be able to be serviced/repaired after even 30-40 years. I plan on passing it/them down to my son if he's interested (he's 3 years old now, so plenty of time)

Cheers

The afternoon express truck brought my new beads of rice bracelet - so I quickly put it on the 42 y.o. Omega.
