Help with purchase
Hi Everyone
I hope you can help me. I want to purchase a Rolex for my 'Hubby to be' as a wedding present. He has no idea! I have a budget of 4000-5500 to spend. He likes simple classy designs, poss the steel with black, white or blue face. Does anyone have a suggestion to which watch i should buy? The explora and submariner are both nice plus the date ones but is there a route to follow?? I dont know and could really do with the right advise Look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards |

Welcome.
I presume that is in Pounds since you are based in Hertfordshire? The stainless steel Submariner Date is a great choice! :) |

You can probably find a minty 16610 here.
Good luck! |

Hi - welcome to the forum.
I recommend a brand new black stainless steel submariner, very versatile watch and fits perfectly in your budget. The best thing to do take your other half with you and get him to try several on and pick one. Remember to take your time and have several visits if necessary as it's a lot of money to spend. |

Welcome. What a loverly idea, as for the Watch, i would either choose a Subc (116610LN) or a GMTIIc (116710LN) both are great everyday watches
hope that helps

Definitely Submariner in Stainless Steel (tell dealer 116610LN). You can also look up trusted sellers here on the For Sale section and they will be able to help you. Lucky guy

I think for a wedding gift, you should raise your sights beyond Rolex, to Patek Philippe. I'd recommend a 5712 or an annual calendar.

If you know where either of those can be purchased for between £4,000 to £5,500 let me know too!

Hi Miss Barnes, here are 3 of the most popular in your price range. All excellent choices(sub left pic, gmt middle, Datejust right)
The Submariner is a divers watch, and the orignal james bond watch. The GMT-Master can keep time in 2 zones, good if he likes to travel. The above two are considered sporty (40mm) The Datejust is a dressy watch(36mm) and available in lots of dial options, and 2 bracelet and bezel options. Good luck. |
