Any ideas if the Yachtmaster will be upgraded soon?
I always loved this piece but I just want to wait until they upgrade the clasp if they even plan on doing so. Thoughts?

Well if they do it will be most probably Basel 2012 then around 3- 6 months later in 2012 before they arrive at AD.

Well, it is one of two that haven't been "upgraded".....
Only Rolex really knows but I'd expect a bracelet and clasp refit sooner or later!! As for the dial.....what would you upgrade with that?

Well if they decided to make the markers larger or the hands larger like the maxi dial and hands on the sub c.

The YM dials (except the black onyx or diamond markers), already have the maxi markers and hands....

I get the clasp upgrade but which YM model are you referring to? What 's wrong with the dials? I think they're all nice particularly the black MOP and Pt dials.

John, I think yours looks just fine without the tourbillon by the way.

Tourbillon is a type of movement escapement and not really suited for a wrist watch great skill to make them and real expensive. But in reality no better accuracy than a standard chronometer watch, and very expensive to service, but by some think perhaps its good to look at.
