Do you guys wear Rolex to work?

I never wear my Sub to work. People say, never dress nicer than your boss. I believe this is true. since my boss wears a Tag Heuer. I work for a tech company.

So on weekdays, i leave my sub on the watch winder. and I wear it on the weekend when i go out.

how about you guys?

I only wear my DateJust occasionally. Special events likes weddings or very important business meetings. If I owned a Sub, I would wear it daily.

EXACTLY!

I don't understand the mentality of buying tough azz beautiful watches that people don't want to wear because they might get a scratch, offend someone, etc.

Jesus people, wear the frickin watch already!

I wear my Datejust to work everyday. I get a lot of complements. No one offended by it so far.

Several people in my office wear Rolexes, and I wear one of three that I have in rotation. The only time anyone notices is with my "bluesy" TT Sub c.

I didn't buy it. I won it. For being the best damn ketchup salesman in America...

Seriously. It was a gift from my company. I've kept if for the sentimental value but I don't really like the DateJust. Or gold. Or diamonds. So I never wear it.

In this case I think "offensive" means wearing a watch that some people might consider a "show off" piece. Like you're trying to show everyone how much money you have. As far as I'm concerned that would be their problem not mine.

I associate the "offensive" with blingy, daimondy affairs. Look how much money I have, I can have a diamond watch, etc etc. It's all bollocks of course. And subjective. If you bought it for your own enjoyment, not to stick in people's faces then you shouldn't worry about what other people are going to think and I'm sure you could pull off any daimondy blingy thingy. If that's your bag. :D

I do and I am the only one. You know what - no one has ever noticed. I thought it would draw some attention but unless you are into watches rarely people take notice.

My first Rolex was an Explorer - in six years I think I had two people comment on it and one of those individuals had the same watch! I love that about the Explorer - beautiful watch and it is "stealthy."

When I picked up my GMTIIc it has greater wrist presence so I thought it would be noticed more. Not at all. No one has commented on it - and I am 100% good with that!

Absolutely every day. I wear it to enjoy it. I don't flaunt it, and most people never notice, but if they did I'd still wear it.
