Not a good first day of school attitude. If you need help, we need pics. The value is determined by a lot of factors such as condition, provenance and variation. If you had an inverted 6 with a floating cosmograph L or R serial then it would be worth a ton more than a regular inverted. If you had a patrizzi dial it would be worth more as well. Too many variations and that is why we requested a pic. If you ask nicely you will get more than enough FREE Rolex knowledge on this forum as there are a ton of helpful guys here. So if they are going to take their time out to help you and need a picture to do so, no sense of getting snappy about it. Cheers

Just found this thread...

If anyone is still of a mind to help out a new person to the forum...I just picked up a W serial gold daytona (picture (hopefully) attached). This appears to have a Mark III (inverted 6) dial. Information I have found so far on steel versions suggests this dial would be INCORRECT. Does anyone think the Mark III dial could be correct for the all gold W serial daytona?

Further background: I've taken the watch to Rolex Servicing and they say the dial is "damaged" and should be replaced. However, they are offering me a Mark V dial (no inverted 6, luminova)...

Thank you in advance to any members who may offer their views!
