Well, when you put it like that, I have to agree with you then.
Anyway, BIG congrats to you again....and she's absolute gorgeous....Nice pics. Enjoy wearing her in good health!

Pretty cool, I like the fake patina but I am not crazy about the 'Paneristi' connection...

Anyway congrats!

Can't blame them

Ofcourse it would have been better for me if I had it at listprice but I am glad they are for sale - for too much money - but at least I was able to buy one

About the community feeling, I can not agree here. It is a watch and nothing more. I like the Paneristi site but I don't buy the 'community crap'
Let's be honest, if you got one, would you have sold it to me at list ? I don't think so

If a watch is so valuable there will always be poeple who choose for the money. Besides, I sold that 339 also for a premium
I used it to make my grail cheaper

So when somebody sells his 360 to fund his grail, I don't think he does something wrong.
If somebody wants an Egiziano and can't afford it but he was lucky to score a 360. And now he can trade his 360 for an Egiziano, why wouldn't he ?
Congrats on the 360 and I completely agree with you.

You traded a 339 + CASH to get the 360?

That's what I said and asked earlier.............the OP thought this was a great deal..............don't get it myself. At the end of the day, the 360 is his Grail. He was willing to pay the price so all we can and should do is wish him a hearty "Congratulations" He's happy, that's all that matters

yes

I know it sounds strange but look for yourself
Try to find a 360 - difficult right now , I'm not aware of any for sale now - and look for a secondhand 339

You'll see that you'll have to add cash.

Don' t look at the listprice but the market price !!

I agree that the 339 has by far the most interesting movement but the 360 is MUCH more rare and much more sought after

Try to explain to a now wis that you'll have to add a lot of cash if you want to trade your new 18K gold daytona to get a Comex sub from the 1980's :-)
Sounds crazy too, doesn't it
The new Daytona is a much better watch than a 30 year old sub but the Comex is the most expensive

All economics 101

This PAM360 is a Panerai grail

indeed, everybody has his own grails

but like said in the post above, look for the secondhand value and compare the 339 with the 360.. it's a crazy market !

I almost agree with you : the 360 is really much better than a 339 , and one
of the few current PAM with the "pre-Vendome look" ...
also from the $ point of view I'm sure that the spread " 360 vs. 339" will certainly increase...
just two small points :
1) at this price ( in the range of 20 k € ) you can also find a beautiful PAM 4A
with the "pre A movement" ..
2) about the comparison between a Comex and another watch .. you can easily imagine what I think .. LLOOLLLLLL

Hearty congrats... like I said, life is short and if you can swing it, get it, love it and enjoy in good health!

Best,
