Entourage is entertaining, wouldn't put it in the same class as the Sopranos or Mad Men though. It is like Sex and the City but for guys. Just my opinion though.

Cast members were dropping some not so subtle hints during the premiere that a big screen adaptation is likely in the works. The fact that none of the key players as well as the primary stakeholder (Mark Wahlberg) have Hollywood franchise careers ahead of them probably means they'll harvest the low hanging fruit as long as possible.

I think there is a big screen adaptation in the works but Mark Walhberg actually is involved in a ton of stuff. He is also the Executive Producer of the HBO show How to Make it in America as well as Boardwalk Empire. I think he was also executive producer of In Treatment. In terms of acting I think Mark Wahlberg is considered to be a franchise actor in hollywood. Movies early in his career like Boogie Nights and The Perfect Storm made him in Hollywood and his most recent movie The Fighter definitely sealed that. He was pretty funny in the movie The Other Guys with Will Ferrell that was released last year.

Mark Wahlberg is more of a player on the other side of the camera than as an actor. Don't get me wrong, he's a solid actor IMO. But what he is not is a guy who puts large numbers of butts in seats, like a Will Smith or Tom Cruise or Leo Dicaprio. Every movie you mentioned was more of an ensemble piece, where there was at least one other name to help carry the film. BN - ensemble. Perfect Storm - Clooney. The Fighter - Christian Bale with Melissa Leo obviously getting much of the critical praise. Wahlberg was great in The Departed, but he was like the proverbial "6th man off the NBA bench" with Nicholson, Dicaprio and Matt Damon all proven A tier guys capable of opening blockbusters on their own. Shooter is the most recent movie I can think of where Wahlberg carried a film that did decent at the box ofc.

Wahlberg's not Top 20 in terms of power and box ofc draw as an actor, but he's probably at least that as a player on the business side.

Just finished watching the two last episodes an E is indeed wearing a super nice YG Royal Oak Chronograph.

I also think it was a white SS Daytona he got back from Sloane. Great episodes!
