I have my eyes on a 1989 / 1990 Rolex Submariner 16610T ... just back from full service and overhaul at RSC including movement overhaul, new crystal, new bezel insert and bracelet polish ...

This is the Tritium dial with the T<25 indication

I think the T denotes the lugs / shoulders arenot drilled?

How many links should be on the Oyster Bracelet on this model?

Going to see in tomorrow

Anything to watch out for on this one?

Did rolex ever fit the new update oyster bracelet to the 16610 before the bigger Sub-C was release?

To answer some of your questions ...
1) It has 12 links originally
2) In the 94 catalog it shows 93150 with 12 links for the Sub Date.
3) In the 01 catalog it shows 93250 with 12 links for same
4) In the 06 catalog it shows 93250 with 12 links for same

And the newer 116610 uses the 97200 bracelet with 13 links.

A 1989 Sub Date will have a 93150 bracelet with 12 links and 501B end-links

They got an upgraded 93250 with SEL's in about 2000 which has 13 1/2 links.

The T does designate a case with non-through lug holes, but I thought that they lost the holes much later than that...are you sure about the date ??

the t<25 indicates the dial is tritium, instead of the Luminova.
amount of tritium is <25 millicuries.
