Unbelievable Customer Service

As you know I bought the new SS GMT the other day. Well while I was there I bought a 4 watch winder(will post a pic later). Anyway they had to order it and it came in today. So I go back to the AD and he takes it out of the box to show me how it works and the different settings. As he is boxing everything back up, I go up to the counter to pay for the winder. The owner walks out from the back and says "so your the guy that bought the new GMT before I could even show it off" I said, Thats me!!!

Anyway he said "You can have the winder, just buy your next watch from me"

Unbelievable!!! Not only did they discount my GMT that I did not think was possible, but gave me a nice 4 watch winder. And this is my first purchase from this dealer...... Definatly not my last!!

I will post a pic soon!!

It just amazing how many dealers don't realize good service can generate a lot of loyalty.

I agree. Really good customer service is so hard to find these days. If I'm treated well by a business then I always try to remain loyal to them. Very well done by that AD And good for you Robb.

This is embassaring! But please help me out here! I am lousy at maths, but quite good at languages.

How much would that be in percent?

And I would like to learn how to do to calculate that on a calculator!

I mean: I CAN calculate like "9839 minus 12" and then press the "percent" button. And likewise ADD ten percent.

But how do one go about when you have one figure and then another lower figure and want to know what the difference is in percent?

Take 5474 / 5950 = 0.92

1.0 - 0.92 = 0.08

Move the "." over two for percentage and you get an 8% discount.

Well done! I got a 12% discount last week on a 16710 GMT from an AD and um.... a free rubber strap for my Heuer chrono! Not quite as good a watch winder.

Now that's how customer service should be.
