Question about the GMT bezel

Hello all,

I have a question about the bezel of my GMT 16710. I tried changing the insert today, which was a great succes !

I have noticed however, that when I apply a little bit of pressure to the bezel, it sort of 'bounces' up and down. If you wouuld look at the side of an oyster case, there is a small gap between the bezel and the case (where you would slide a knife or razor blade in to pop off the bezel), and if I press down on the bezel this gap disappears and reappears. The bezel does turns very smooth and you can hear the click spring doing its job.

Is this normal? I've only had my watch for a couple of days so I'm not sure myself.

These are some pictures (first one with the gap and in the second one I'm pressing down on the bezel):

Thanks, Tom

I searched the forumand found several threads on this issue, I think it is what would be described as a 'wobbley' bezel.

I think I have it on my Sub's bezel, too. I figured it's normal.

Yup, normal if your referring to what I think you are. You can depress a side of the bexel by placing downward pressure on it. I have it on my 16610 as well as my ceramics 116610 and 116710

Unless all my Rolex watches have issues I would presume it is 100% normal and nothing to worry about it. Wear and Enjoy, lets see a wrist shot
