Hope I made the right decision...

I had a chance to buy a Paneria 24 (Sub), BNIB from the AD this week.
I like the watch, but it wasn't singing to me like it should have.
The kicker was/is, the serial number on the watch was #1.
First number, new case style
Would have made a great "safe queen", but for me, I like wearing what I own, and this one might not have gotten the wrist time, so I passed on it.
Now I have "non-buyers remorse"

Well, if it didn't yell at you "BUY ME!!!" then you made the right choice. I, not unlike yourself, also like to wear the watches I purchase and collect ( a very small and humble collection in so far), so it would be hard for me to justify a "safe queen".

Imo a good buy, never can go wrong with that unless the series is really undesirable to collectors.

I thinks its very cool that it was #1 however I think you made the right choice. If it didn't "sing" to you then why bother, plus I'm kinda anti-safe queen. These babys were meant to be worn not on a shelf in a safe.

John-
Agree with you and the rest of the guys...I can't see myself buying a watch I don't like and wouldn't really wear. Wonder if you could have made a return on it, though...
