gmt bracelet loose at 6oclock lug

i think this is cause the person i bought my D series from switched out the springbar with a non rolex - is this possible?

It is possible if the springbar is not the correct size.

Yes, your watch takes a fatter spring bar than the "normal" types.

Any decent watch maker / jeweler should be able to change it out for you at a nominal charge.

Yes, only use OEM Rolex spring bars.

Take it off... measure it..

Your GMT should have a 2mm thick spring bar with .90mm pivots..

thanks for the help guys, my AD's watchmaker had to actually drill out the springbar to replace it cause the jeweler i bought it from jammed the wrong one in - good thing AD is a very close friend
