NATO straps are a look....Sort of like bluejeans instead of slacks..

If you like that look......fine...You don't need anybody to justify it for you.

Just don't expect everybody to share your opinion....I'm not sure that putting a $25 dollar strap on a $5 thousand dollar watch does it justice...
