http://www.avforums.com/forums/tvs/ and they have a highly reputable review section: http://www.avforums.com/reviews/ Personally, I'm a sucker for black levels, contrast range, natural motion capture & skin tones +++ and there wasn't (still isn't?) much better out there than the last Pioneer Kuro plasmas (diff name in US, I think, "Elite"?), as mentioned by some of the guys. If LED (really only LCD with LED backlighting) it would have to be locally dimmed, otherwise you'll have bleeding (grey streaks instead of black when quick scene lighting changes from bright to dark) in most cases. => I'd go for the best Panasonic or Samsung plasma with minimum 50". Anything smaller and you'll regret it soon. We sit 2 metres away from a 50" and it's just big enough. |
