Gmt master ii satin case polish technique?

Hi guys..how would you go about polishing the Satin Part of the watch case (on top above the chromed part of the watch case) I have a few ideas but would like your opinions or experience in doing so! Thanks!!!

Used a Scotchbrite Pad. Replicated Exactly. Thanks for everybody's help.
