I can't see any distinguishing features between that box and my identical genuine one? Have I missed something?

Tom, 3 +ve feedbacks since 2005 does not imho equal good feedback. An ok story is just that...a story.

Eric is correct (and well spotted) , this is counterfeit. Wrong colour hand tag, bad fonts, printing, etc.. It needs to go...

1. The print and location of the Rolex/Oyster/Coronet logo on the outer box is all wrong, including location/orientation.
2. Rolex chronomter hang-tag has never been made with neon yellow and green cheap plastic/nylon fiber "rope".
3. Box interior is light-colored bamboo garbage.

If your box looks exactly like that one, it is counterfeit. If you have any concerns, post a couple pictures and we can tell you for sure (as long as it's kosher with the mods).

Thanks, here you go. (PS I am aware that my Sub has an aftermarket bracelet)

Didn't see you had posted this until now. Anyway, looks good! That's the older "moon crater" box and pre-dates the (fake) set that was originally posted in this thread.

No hijack of thread intended but I'm picking up a 2003 Submariner no date on Monday - Do you have, by any chance, a reference for what the box and contents should look like please?

Cheers,
