Big dilemma here: I need your feedback about my DJII ...

I think that the DJ2, no matter what your wrist size, is a casual/smart-casual watch. It isn't AS suited to suites and ties as a classic DJ, which can be worn casually, or as a dress watch. It depends on its use. Is it an everyday casual watch, or is it a board meeting or evening dress watch?
I personnally think that ANY Rolex can be worn for any event, but some are MORE suited to certain tasks than others. For example, the Deep Sea would be casual, not dress, and a gold DJ would the other way round.

I don't really get the DJII, a dressy watch should be elegent, i.e on the smaller side. Think you really need a huge wrist to pull it off.

Even if you gain weight again, the DJ 36m will still look fine.

Guess it depends what's your style and what you are used to.

Actually looks a lot better after adjusting the fit. Very modern look. I think if you're going for a classic look, then the 36mm would be better. If you're looking for a modern look, then the 41m is fine.

The decision is yours but I agree with those who say it's just too big. The DJ is such a classic watch and I think the 36mm would be much better suited for you.

Sorry for being late to this thread. The DJII is too big IMO for your anatomy, I'd would have gone with the 116234/116200, here is mine on a 7 1/4 wrist.





The 36mm DJ stick dial is more balanced, elegant and timeless IMO.

I still own my very first DJ 16200 from 1982, and I regularly wear it when I am done with the size and weight of my new 116610 Subs. This old DJ is so stealth and comfortable!!!!

Frankly, a little bit off topic, I cannot understand why Rolex made the new DJ and DD sooooo big, 41 mm, even bigger than the sports models. There is no logic for me, and the elegance of the DJ is unfortunately gone, although the new models are technically perfect. 38 or 39 mm size would have been perfect IMHO.

For my personal taste a watch is too big on the wrist when the lugs stand over the wrist.

What I can see from your pictures, this is not the case. It actually looks OK on your wrist! If you like the watch, then keep it.

What I can see from your pictures, this is not the case. It actually looks OK on your wrist! If you like the watch, then keep it.

On top it, I think the sticks on the DJII are too large vis-a-vis the size of the hands, thus the design doesn't balance well IMPO.

I agree with Mark. The DJ and DJ II are similar, yet different animals and, if you like the larger model, the DJ II takes some beating. Whichever one you go for, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I don't think it looks too big on you, at all. In fact, it looks pretty cool ;-)
