Wrist size

Hi TRF,

Would any of you happen to know the *average +/-* wrist size/diameter for men and women? I'm a consultant to a medical device company that manufactures radial artery compression devices, and these devices are placed on the wrist like a watch! They have a 2 different sizes now on the market (regular, large), but I suspect they want to fine tune their product. The question came to me in the form of an email this AM, so I thought it would be perfect to through back to this forum. Many thanks for your help.

6.5" - 7.5" for men and 6" - 6.25" for women, according to general info published by the CDC. There are different measurements depending on height and frame size, but this is an average for medium framed men and women.
