It might be of interest to know that a large percentage of mod action is a result of member(s) reporting a post or thread.

In the main, the forum's members set the tone.

+1 I'm on a wide variety of forums and a moderator on one of them. Rules are there to set the expectation for members from the administration. Follow them and everything is cool. Break them unintentionally, and you'll be pointed in the direction of the rules for educational purposes, blatently break them and

I for one think it's a good rule and feel safer as a buyer knowing that it's in place.

I don't want to waste my time negotiating with a "seller" that doesn't actually have the watch in question.

I wonder how many of the greys act as middle men in some of the sales here? My understanding is that some may do but they keep quite about it. Just my humble opinion...of course i may be wrong.

I think you just gave TMI, OP.

And it's not just about this rule. I personally would never relate that a watch was being sold due to a need for money due to hard times. It certainly can't help you out as a seller.
