Greatest modern video games ever
I am a young guy so I play quite a few games in my spare time. Let's say post 2000 video games what do you guys think?
My personal favorites: the recent COD games for online competitive gaming, but Red Dead Redemption is my all time favorite game. Felt like I just experienced an emotional rollercoaster after beating the game. The story, voice acting, everything was just perfect with that game. Not to mention the undead nightmare add on was flawless as well. What do y'all think? |

Battlefield 2 without a shadow of a doubt.
The level of depth and teamwork has yet to be surpassed in any other game. I have a soft spot for Lucasarts Full Throttle as well. |

Man..I'm getting old....
My last video games were the Quake series,Kingpin life of crime and the Grand Theft Auto family. I like games where a lot of violent killing is involved. |

Post 2000.
Halo. I've been playing games my whole life but seeing Halo for the first time blew me away. Since then, probably Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. Best Games? I'd say most Marios, Ocarina of Time, Halo, Resident Evil 4 and almost every game I had on my Commodore 64 (ah the rose tint is the best) J |

I'm big into first person shooters. Been playing battlefield 3 a lot and am waiting for cod mw3. Also I've been having some fun modding and selling cars on Forza 4.

Daniel, I love Call of Duty Modern Warfare, although I haven't played in a few years (since college). My fiance would kill me if I bought a ps3 and played nonstop... that game is so damn addicting.

It's going to be a good battle between Battlefield 3 and COD MW3 when that comes out in a few weeks. Good time to upgrade to run these on Ultra.

Lots of Elder Scroll Fans!!! I've played since Daggerfall (which is archaic by todays standards) LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I called Gamestop to ask about the midnight release on 11-11-11 of Skyrim, but opted for Amazon release day delivery.
And yeah... I'm taking the following Monday and Tuesday off work explicitly to play :) |

Post 2000 I have had less variety in my gaming. General comments on what I've seen that's been good:
- Most anything by Bioware - GTA 2 and 3 - Soul Caliber - Guitar Hero and Rock Band - Online mmorpg I have found nothing that can ultimately be more enjoyable for me than WoW. I might try again when the new SW drops, but if it's like AoC or LOTR or Rift or WH it won't be worth switching. - Starcraft 2 |

Counter-Strike 1.3/5/6
It was probably the best $10 I ever spend. Waste 8+ years playing that game.
