Any help with a watch called wintex please

Hello all im new to this and dont really know anything about rolex,s and there other companies. Im just trying to find out some info on a watch that has been passed down through the family. After some looking around on the internet i found that maybe wintex was one of rolex,s other watch names. Inside the case it has the RWC logo and like to f,s togehter 9k 375 with an all solid gold band. Lovely old watch in working cond and looks to be about 1920,s by the box. A local jewller offered me 250 uk pounds for it but all i wanted was info and he seamed like he knew but wouldnt tell . Any info much welcomed. Add pics soon.. many thanks jon
