It's all about the wrist! And I agree a too small watch looks silly on a big wrist and a too large watch looks silly on those that are too skinny...

36mm is okay!
It is THE Rolex classic size to wear.
EXI could be a dress-watch as well a sport-watch imho.

Looks good, congrats on a classic, hope it keeps a smile on your face for a long time.

The Explorer 1, 36mm is one of the most under valued watches in the Rolex line up, imo.

Did you keep the 39mm or swap to 36mm?

I think I remember giving advice that the 36mm would be the one. Congrats!

I didn't see this thread until later in the afternoon...do you still have this one or is it already on it's way out?

It looks pretty good, but not as good as that beautiful 14060M IMHO.
