That Everest thread from a week ago
After reading the thread about Everest last week, it prompted me to read Into Thin Air.
Now I am reading the "Rebuttal" book, The Climb. Facinating topic. |

There was also a small series on Discovery Channel called Beyond the Limit which is now available on DVD. Three seasons total and is pretty good. Follows a specific guide, Russel Brice, and what it takes to get people to the top.

I've been amazed by that post, really. I've spent several days looking for more articles and stories about those who perished and those that made it to the top.
I can't remember who posted it but thank you Just to let you know my wife hates you,she had to listen to me for the whole week talking about the Everest while watching at some gruesome pics. |

Me too, watched every episode, mostly cause I don't understand those people, but also cause I find the indomitable quest so fascinating! Different strokes for different folks.
