hod do i tell the age of a Rolex date just
Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way to tell how old a datejust is. can this be worked out via the model number and if so where can i get this information from. I am new to Rolex so just trying to get my groundings before i make a purchase. thanks heaps |

it can be done -approximately- from the serial number which is in between the lugs ( wear the bracelet joins the the head of the watch at 6 o'clock

you can gauge the approximate year with the model number, and an even closer year based on the serial number.
im cant quite find the site that has the details, but i do have a copy in an excel file

Some older ones will have the quarter and the year stamped inside the case like my 1971 DJ.
