Fake Alert: Omega Seamaster Bond 40th Anniversary
Was looking on Ebay at Omega Bond 40th Anniversary prices and found these two watches being sold by two different sellers as the real deal. But to me they look fake. Just curious what some of the other Omega people here think.
-This seller is saying this watch is from 2004. But if you look at the bezel you will notice it's got a black face. As far as I know Omega did not make a 40th Anniversay Bond in Black in 2004 and did not come out with a black version these until recently. Plus the Bezel looks wrong to me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAMAS...item519be20353 -A lot of things look wrong to me about this specific Omega as well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seamas...item415f3da34c Maybe I'm wrong about these but I would like to give a heads up to everyone here at the Forums. |

Second one is definitely fake, just from the clasp and the quality it looks bad.
The first one might be a little better with the quality but it looks like junk to me too. |

Right, the first one was a little tuffer. But the give away to me is the seller says it's from 2004 and it's a 40th anniversary and they did not make a black version then. Plus the numbers are to big. If you compare a real Seamaster the numbers on the bezel are much smaller amd tighter together. The numbers in this picture are pretty large and farther apart. But it is always possible that I could be wrong.
