This is the genuine site that the scammer got a lot of his script from (the English stuff) as per paragraph below
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MEN-ROLEX-18K...QQcmdZViewItem Authenticity Authenticity is guaranteed! Every Rolex has been thoroughly examined and authenticated by our Rolex certified watchmaker, guaranteeing it will arrive in the same condition as described. Box and papers are not included with any item except when noted in the description. As with most preowned watches, the original box and/or papers are not available because they were not retained by the original owner. We are an independent dealer of fine vintage watches and are not an authorized agent or affiliated with any of the fine manufacturers whose watches we sell. We are not affiliated with the Rolex Watch Company Ltd., Rolex Watch USA Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. All Rolex watches offered by Beckertime are pre-owned. We are an independent sales center of pre-owned Rolex watches. The Rolex Watch Company Ltd. has no obligation to warranty any watch sold by us. We are the sole warranter of the Rolex watches being sold. We never guarantee that any of the watches we sell are waterproof or water resistant unless the watch is "Brand New" and manufactured to be as such. Since we primarily sell pre-owned wristwatches we have no way to be certain whether the watch has retained the original waterproofing or resistance it may have had when new. For security and insurance reasons we can no longer accommodate local pick-ups. Thank you for your understanding. |

"this Rolex watch was probably recased so we are selling it as an aftermarket case"
How's that for trying to tap dance around the truth?

There should be some world wide law for selling on Ebay, you try to scam somebody you get picked up in 30 minutes by the Ebay police. They ruin it for every legit seller.

Actually, those shit heads could be anywhere in the world, just because they are using a French Ebay site doesn't necessarily mean that's where they are. I once had my Ebay site highjacket by someone in Holland!, they had noticed it had not been active for a few weeks so broke my password, got in and listed a couple of expensive laptops (which they never actually owned) on a three day auction. They sold for $2,600 U.S. each, one was won by a girl in the U.S. and the other by a guy in Sydney. The girl in the U.S. went along to her local Western Union branch to transfer the money but luckily the teller was on the ball and asked why she was sending money to an address in Holland when the sellers address is in Australia. That rang bells and the girl called me to clarify and so the whole scam was rumbled. I phoned the guy in Sydney and managed to catch him in time before he had paid.
