Safe in New York?

Few days ago someone asked is it safe to wear Rolex in Thailand. Now I would like to ask is it safe to wear a Rolex in New York City? I will be staying in Flushing area.

Thks

Yes. Flushing is safe. I wear my wg and yg watches all the time there. You should be ok.

I walked around NYC this past weekend with my PAM and believe me, we were in some sketchy places (bachelor party) - no worries. In the end, it's just a watch and not worth your life. Get it insured and be prepared to hand it over if you need to.

Of course. Live and work in the heart of NYC and never even question wearing my Rolex. You will see expensive watches all over the place.

Flushing is a large neighborhood. Overall, it is safe but its not immune to crime so keep that in mind. As suggested, use common sense

It's fine, but if you look like a victim, you'll be a victim (or however that saying goes).
