Dallas RSC Response Time

The Dallas RSC received my watch for service on Monday by registered mail. When should I expect to hear from them about the estimate, or any other related information? Thanks!

I recently sent the Dallas Service Center a Datejust II to be regulated. It was losing 6 seconds per day. Also had the screws replaced that the AD ruined while adding an additional bracelet link.

The time from handing it over at the post office to its return home was 18 days. I was changed nothing by Dallas RSC as the watch was under warranty.

I have sent several to Dallas with very good results. Usually get a call within a week to let me know they received it and the estimate.

I would agree that a one to two week window would seem appropriate

Dallas RSC

I had bad experience with Dallas. Two Portland repair shops with Rolex accounts and good rep advised to send my Red Sub 1680 (1977) to Dallas for repair. They refused to do anything except send it back to me with some lame excuses. From some advice from this forum, I sent my Sub to San Francisco Rolex repair and they did an outstanding job. If you have a rare or vintage Rolex, I would avoid Dallas.

I wouldn't say that's a bad experience a bad experience would have been if they had replaced your vintage dial and hands with new ones and charged you $750 for the luxury of the service.

Vintage is vintage and should be treated considerably different than every other watch service.

From everything I have read here on TRF people are very happy with the service and turn-around time of Dallas

I don`t know about turnaround time from Dallas but I do know that Dallas has as good a reputation as you can get from a Rolex Service Center.

Don`t worry.

If you have a vintage send it to Bob Ridley.
