I like the RTF...I do not feel I am addicted. I keep thinking to my self how much can be said about Rolex watches? but then I keep reading every day....okay maybe I am slightly addicted....slightly......just slightly....

Pretty sure there is more than one person here who is not only addicted to Rolex but to this forum as well. It's a great community and a nice reprive from work etc.

I love watches........ END OF STORY..... but the ability to share those purchases, existing acquisitions and general issues with similarly like minded people is what tips you over the edge........

If you go a step further and attend a few GTGs......it becomes even more "real" and the addiction really starts to hit home.........

I used to moan about the missus, friends or family always on their phones facebooking, tweeting or whatever....... Now I am quite pleased they do.....as it allows me time to check in to TRF

Are you alone? Right now there are over 240 registered members on line. Take a look at the post count of many of our members. No, you are not alone.

There are quite a few people who are addicted to TRF, whether it's for the Rolex or other watch information, or just for the cameraderie that has been established here and is an integral part of this great forum.

Welcome to one of the best addictions around.

BTW, there is no 12 step program to cure yourself of this addiction. It's chronic.

Don't worry, apparently a couple of our fellows' wives have met up a couple of times and are working on it.

So are my girlfriend's threats! I don't live with her yet and I've added up 14 months of couch sleeping because of my TRF addiction!

We're all nuts. My wife thinks I'm a freak. What really makes me laugh is when I'm here at 12am on a Saturday night and I see many folks (from my same time-zone) in this forum.

Shouldn't we all be out on the down or spending time with our spouses?

Rolex and TRF are not the cause of the addiction. It's much more deep rooted than that: they are just the manifestation. Probably some childhood issue, like realizing you'd been wearing a MINNIE Mouse watch; not a Mickey Mouse watch.
