My 16622 "Z" serial

I love my YM and think its a fantastic watch.. Doing my research prior to purchasing it it seems to be that the "Z" serial is worth more then other YM models with similar vintage...Is that correct?

What is the significance (if any) of the "Z" versus an "f" or "g"

Thanks

Great watch But I'm interested to see how a Z serial can be worth more

Ugh...Another "internet myth price increase"!!!

Hey I actually heard that the following are the most collectible versions of their models...

M Series 16610LV
F Series 16570 &
S Series 16713

Don't ask me why and it is just a coincidence that I own all THREE!!!

I'm pretty sure there's no difference...the newer one has actually got a smoother platinum dial then the older dials BUT the general consensus among owners is that the older dial is more alluring then the plain dial.....

The full size 40mm Yachtmaster was first introduced in 1992 and the changes since then are hardly worth a mention. And all these case letter stamps are just a approximation when a case was stamped nothing more. Now Z serial started to appear around May 2006 till July 2007 then we had M that started around August 2007 till July 2008 then the V August 2008 till July 2009 after there were various single letters like G till 2010- 2011 plus the new type random. All these case stamps are is just a approximation, while the YM is quite a poor seller so many YM watches with different case stamps could have all been produced the same time.Just today the Internet has made these serials to be far more important than they really are.So price wise it all comes down to some Internet code that perceives one case stamp to be newer than another, but afraid this is not always the case with any Rolex watch.
