I don't see it claiming to be an LV
It's a 16610 with a green bezel |

Just some points to address about your concerns: Lot 118 is an official green bezel Mark 2 model. The outer Rolex shipping sleeve on the box retains the UK multiple retailers HO stock label referencing it as a 16610LV with a stock date 22/3/2005 and the perforated guarantee certificate bears the branch stamp and states the date of sale as 1st April 2005. Rolex have confirmed that this watch left Geneva as a green bezel model.
It is described as a “circa 2003” as the serial numbers on the case have been used to determine the approximate production date, but it is worth remembering that the serial numbers by year for the professional models can run anything up to two years out of sync with the other core collections. The “flat four” on the bezel appears to have been introduced for the full run of the official anniversary year (around late 2002 through to 2004). This would cover Y and F series case numbers. Pointed fours started to make an appearance on late F and D series cases, so if we allow some overlap you would be looking at late 2004/2005 watches, which is supported by its shipping date. With the serial number on lot 118 being F856579, it is entirely plausible that it would have a “pointed four” on the bezel and remain a legitimate LV model. |
