The problem is that threads like this one are conversation-stoppers. Analyzing the codes may turn out to be fruitless but it's no sillier than any of the other Rolex arcana discussed here.

I have to agree with you on that. It is certainly better than and not as silly as the can I swim with it, shower with it, sleep with it, take stickers off etc. etc.  Still nothing wrong with humor and like the others threads like this will bring the humor in which is part of TRF.
